Air travel from Thailand may resume Friday

International flights in and out of Bangkok, Thailand will likely resume Friday.

The anti-government protesters, who seized control of the city's two airports last week, announced they will end their siege now that the country's prime minister has been ousted.

Prime Minister Somechai Wongsawat accepted a ruling of Thailand's Constitutional Court that dissolved the top three ruling parties for electoral fraud.

Northwest Airlines says it has tentative plans to resume service on Friday. The airline is offering waivers to travelers who have tickets for travel through December 8th.

Customers in need of rebooking assistance should contact Northwest Airlines at 1-800-225-2525 or Delta Air Lines at 1-800-221-1212.
